Playstation Network?

I'm using my ps3 to write this. Does it cost money to join the playstation network. How many people have joined the playstation network. If you are one of them are you satisfied.

   xbox live is about £40 a year i think so least ps3 online is free so don't worry u don't have to pay lol
2. There is no cost to join the PSN - it is free. There has been connectivity issues but usually only when a hot new game comes out. Potentially every PlayStation 3 owner is a member of PSN since it's free - so it's not really an issue of whether or not you should sign up as there is no downside.
   
   
   
   The service is as complete or robust as Xbox Live as it seems to have been "tacked on" to the PS3 and not as fully integrated as Xbox Live on the 360.
