How good is the playstation video store? I've always wanted to rent movies from the psn video store, but never did because I was afraid they wouldn't be as good quality, or that they would take too long to download. I thought that you had to wait 1 hour for the download to finish, but now I'm hearing that playback starts instantly. Are there lots of pauses? Is it possible to watch a movie through without it pausing? how long does it take for a 1h45min movie to download?

psn movie/ video downloads format? what format are the rentals and tv shows on the psn? MP4? MPG? help if you have done it before.

Question for PSN Store, Video: Anime? What are some good animes on the PSN for the PS3? I already purchased Burst Angel all 24 episodes Afro Samurai all 5 episodes and i tried Gunslinger Girl but didn't like it, as well as SpeedGrapher, what other good animes besides Afro and Burst are there on the PSN? any one got any good ones?

My playstaion store on the ps3 has no Video option to watch movies, where is it? psn videos on my new harddrive? so recently i upgraded the hard drive of my ps3 not too long ago. before the upgrade i downloaded a few videos and now i cant redownload them or copy them from the old one...wat do i do? i tried to copy it but i cant. its copy protected. i can only copy it to a psp and i dont have one (nor a large enough memory stick)

Favourite announcement from E3 PS conference? This is a tough one. Tell me your single favourite announcement/part. I would have to say the God Of War 3 trailer. I really want to go with MAG but i need more info to see if itll really be that good. The LBP presentation was ingenious but not really anything new [in terms of what we know about the game] Quest for booty looks really cool but who didnt know about it. Resistance retrobution was the best kept secret but it didnt really look that great tbh, i will till download the ISO though. The video download service is really good but i get that stuff for free right now, and the PC linking looks like n excellent way to make PSN more accessable. But the GoW 3 trailer was amazing! "There will be only chaos." ? I dont see why people are disapointed, the only reason there wasnt more is because a lot has alreayd been announced, and these are all firest party games, just thnk of all the thrid party games, one of which is Tekken.

Problem downloading PS3 Guitar Hero 3 update? I set up wireless on PS3 to my existing wireless network and so far I've downloaded/installed system update easily, and also an update for Rock Band. The update for Guitar Hero 3, though, times out before it can get past 4%. "An error occurred... (80710723)" It always comes after unexpectedly it logs me out of PSN also. Thinking maybe it's a port thing, I set up a DMZ and use a static IP instead. Again all is well including internet browser, I can watch YouTube videos, etc, but if I load Guitar Hero 3 and try to install the update, same problem. Any ideas? thnx redmax. im trying it again about the twelfth time this week and now its cooking along like there never was a problem!, at 49% as i speak! yay!

So this is the best console, right? The 360, more often than not, has the best graphics, even on games that are multi-platform. Xbox Live is easily superior to the online systems of the other consoles. Sure you have to pay $50 a year, but you get what you pay for, which is why PSN and Nintendo WiFi are both free... The 360 easily has the best games, with arguably the best to come. If MSG4 ever comes to the 360, "Ohs noes" to the PS3. And with the Netflix deal, the 360 provides much more than just video games. ___________ Actually, I'm just trying to justify my soon-to-be purchase. So is the 360 really the superior console I like to think it is? The Wii is for kids? Sorry to say, that's not true my friend. This ignorance is leading me to believe I might not agree with your choice in consoles.

PS3 Freezing problems (See the details)? My PS3 froze twice. Yesterday and today. When I play Motostorm, yesterday, during the game online, it freezes. Is it because of the server? Also when, after I played Motorstorm, I plug in a USB and went to the USB icon to download a music video, it freezes and I can't reboot that. Any suggestions of what is happening? What updates do you want to see for PS3? Personally I would like to see; A email checking service (put on the network menu) A P2P client (This way you can download torrents straight to the PS3) A search option in the music menu (takes a while to scroll to bottom of my songs) More PSP stuff in the PSN shop A video converter (so you can change movies on PS3 to PSP format) Better flash player for the web browser An official linux downloadable from the PSN A msn messenger sevice (I know this would be hard with it being microsoft and all) With those additions my pc would be used a WHOLE lot less and 90% of my entertainment stuff would be PS3 based What would you like to see? playstation 3 music while playing games? i saw a video of the guy of psn director playing a game and he was listening to music he had the 2.40 update and i got 2.42 update and it doesnt play music while playing games but thats dum that i cant but when would all of us start listening to music while playing games if they are making a update for it

Possible to play PAL Playstation One games from UK store on USA NTSC PS3? I live in the USA and have a 60GB PS3. I really like the way the Playstation 3 is more open than the previous machines. The Playstation Network stores allow you to browse and buy games from different regions, and I've had the following experience: - PS3 games from any region work fine on my machine. - Only NTSC games from the "classics" series (Playstation One) games run on my NTSC, 60GB USA PS3. That means games from the USA, Hong Kong, and Japan stores. - I can purchase PAL Playstation One games from the UK and Australian PSN stores, and I can put them on my PSP without much trouble, but they don't run on the PS3 because of incompatible video settings. Does anyone know of any way to trick the NTSC PS3 into running these PAL titles? It seems that with all the video hardware on this thing, conversion should not be a problem -- especially when someone is willing to pay for the old games. I want to play Motorhead, G-Police, and some others without having to hit Ebay for old discs.

very important question about playstation home? im somewhat confused whether or not i should enter home cause for a couple of reasons ive created like 3 PSN accounts a german one which i thought was unnecessary cause the german psn store looks quite empty compared to uk japanese or american psn stores and due to censorship of video games/demos in germany so i mainly used my uk account or us. my main concern regarding home is that you aint allowed to meet people from certain location for example my german account for german speaking countries or my american account for north americans and finally my uk account which only allows you to meet people within the uk or can people just meet any nationalities regardless which psn acocount you gonna use.hope i made sense to anyone thanks for your help:)
